Tel Aviv is the largest city in Israel and the city has many hidden surprises. As well as boasting an array of museums, galleries and monuments, it also features fantastic beaches. There are also a number of excellent shopping malls in Tel Aviv which offer the latest in name brands.

The villages of Jerusalem are another great place to visit and this includes Ein Karem Village, which is surrounded by stunning forest. The villages can be reached with little hassle when using car rental.

The roads in Israel

In the country’s larger cities the roads are in excellent condition. However, some of the villages don’t have the best of roads but they still can be easily managed with care. You must have a valid international driving license to drive here and lucky for Canadian visitors, Israel observes right-hand driving rules. Best time to visit

It’s mild to hot year-round in Israel, which is great because it means you can visit at anytime of the year. However in mountain villages you can expect to find microclimates and much cooler conditions. Summer and spring is the best for beachgoers.
